“I am one of those lucky people who need extensive and continued dental treatment. But I kept postponing dental checkups for the fear of something painful coming up. I knew I would soon find myself in an emergency situation and so I did. Then came the matter of finding a good dentist.
I am very grateful that I found Dr. Thakur. She has a very conveniently accessible and comfortable office in Campbell. She started with taking my X-rays and assessing my overall dental health and then the removal of two teeth that I had ignored for years. This was my emergency. Over the next several weeks, she went through the root canals and crowns to retain two of my molars in addition to countless cleanings and fillings. Not once did I feel any discomfort. All I did was keep my appointments. My previous experience with root canals, years ago before coming to the US, was over multiple weeks and literally very painful so I was dreading going through it again but this time, thanks to Dr. Thakur, it was very quick and I didn’t feel a thing.
Dr. Thakur has a very nice assistant, Anjelica. They both work together and thus no time is lost. They work continuously to completely cure one problem in one single appointment. The patient does not have to take frequent breaks, disturbing the doctor’s rhythm and that’s how they both get a lot of work done in a short time. For me this was a very different and pleasant experience of not having to return to complete the treatment of the same problem.
